It doesn’t feel like summer here in The Netherlands so I’ll have to do with pictures of summer houses to get a bit in the summer mood. A summer house on the island of Resarö in the Stockholm archipelago is probably a dream for many, an idyllic island with the sea around the corner but also close to Stockholm. This traditional wooden house from 1910 is ideal for a calm hideaway surrounded by nature. Indoors they created a calm, rustic and slightly bohemian atmosphere with many historic details that were carefully restored to recreate the old charm of the house. And for me that kitchen is an absolute dream, can I just have this summer house already?
