Converting a church into a home or an office space is not something unusual. A large open space with high ceilings and stained glass is for many people a dream to live in. In the Spanish place Llanera in Asturias they did something completely different with an abandoned church. It’s is now a colourful skate park.
Each year Pantone chooses a colour of the year. If you have been reading interior blogs lately you will have noticed that this year Pantone didn’t chose one colour, but two. This year you can expect to see a lot of Rose Quartz & Serenity.
While I loved last years colour Marsala, I do love the idea of adding some soft colours into my interior. I’ve made this post to give you some inspiration on how to add these colours into your interior.
I don’t have any plans of traveling to Paris anytime soon, but when I see these pictures of Hôtel Providence in Paris I might change my mind. The hotel was built in 1854 and it breathes the Parisian feeling. The hotel with 18 rooms (every room having a custom-made bar!), a downstairs bar and a restaurant is decorated with vintage furniture which gives it a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Just look at the pictures and dream yourself in Paris.
I did it! I finally made the step to a proper blog. You might know me from Tumblr, I’ve been posting a lot of interior inspiration there for several years, but I always wanted to see if I could do something in the big blogger world. Here you will find everything that I find inspiring in the interior world.
I find this scary, will it work? Are my tumblr followers going to follow me to this platform? Will I be able to find a bigger audience? I don’t know, but it’s a new year and my new years resolution was: ‘Just do it’. (For those who are scared that I will delete my Tumblr, don’t worry! I will always keep on posting there as well, see it as an addition to this blog).
Anyway, that’s enough talk for now. Over time we will see how this blog is going to develop, but untill then I should just start posting don’t you think? I hope you will find it just as inspiring as I do.
