Sometimes you’re in the mood for fun and colorful design. Luckily I stumbled upon this Brooklyn apartment that was recently decorated by Homepolish designer Will Saks. Focal point in the apartment are the beautiful bookshelves on the exposed brick wall in the kitchen. The apartment is filled with interesting design items and every wall space is decorate with artwork. I love all the pink and blue-tones that are used in this apartment, it makes it look so fresh and fun!
There is a feeling of casual elegance in the New York home of Matt and Nadine Abramcyk. Together with their two children they live in Tribeca which they refer to as ‘a small town in the city’. With an apartment that faces the park and views over the surrounding greenery and the sky it sure doesn’t feel like a New York apartment. They mixed their elegant furniture with rustic and industrial elements. The bedroom wall is covered in reclaimed barn wood and copper pipes are visible troughout the apartment. I love the brightness of the space in combination with the darker colors of the wood and metal elements. All the wood gives the space such warmth and a slight ‘country cottage vibe’ which I absolutely love. If I wanted a New York apartment, than I definitely want it to look like this!
