After the colour explosion in monday’s blog post, today I’ll show you the complete opposite. In no other country can they make a home so lovely and bright as in Sweden. This home in Gothenburg is in typical Scandinavian style. A monochrome colour palette combined with wooden elements, the perfect amount of furniture and keeping it as bright as possible. I especially love the attic with a cozy sitting space and attic bedroom. Scandinavian can do no wrong in my eyes!
If it’s one thing Scandinavians can do it’s making a home appear very bright and spacious without losing it’s charm. This apartment in Gothenburg is only 57 square meter but it looks very spacious and so crisp! I love how the light flows through the window in the living room and the white floor makes it even brighter. They gave the walls a very soft grey color so it isn’t entirely white but the brightness remains. I love this, the only downside for me is the bedroom which doesn’t really fit with the rest of the home. But it only needs a few changes to make that bright and crisp as well.
This living room is Scandinavian decor at its best. I love the bright, crisp feeling of this space that’s now for sale through Entrance Mäkleri. They’ve added some warmth to the white base with ethnic furniture and accessories such as the lovely rattan rocker chair. The light wooden floor and beautiful black and white rug give the space some texture. I never fail to be impressed with how the Scandinavians can make a white space so warm and welcoming.
Oh! Isn’t this bright Scandinavian apartment beautiful? The apartment isn’t very big with 87 square meter but the owners made excellent use of the space they have. The half glass wall between the living room and the kitchen is such a smart way to create two seperate rooms without losing the natural light and the feeling of space. From the living room there are double doors leading to the light bedroom with Mimou wallpaper but also double doors to the hallway that stretches the entire apartment where they have created a workspace and here you will find the most colour in the apartment by the gray-green painted walls. I love this Scandinavian apartment. Small, clever, light and very stylish!
