It’s that time of the year again to get excited about the new products coming to IKEA in august. Warm colours, prints and a touch of gold that’s how you can describe the autumn collection of IKEA. The living room is the focus of the new collection with new chairs, cushions, lighting and soft rugs. Sustainability is a big item at IKEA and also in this collection they designed with the enviroment in mind, without losing the IKEA style of course. Now sit back and marvel at all the new items. We only have to wait a little bit because this collection hits the store in august!
There are wonderful new items coming to IKEA in april and it mainly focusses on storage and multifunctional living. There are some new furniture items that are ideal for the ‘floating home’. The focus is on young people who’s house often change in location, condition and contents. The furniture is flexible, functional and has an industrial look. IKEA also comes with a great office system called SVALNÄS that I’m seriously considering for my own home. With this system – where Asian and Scandinavian design meet – you can create your own ideal workspace using shelves, cabinets and desk space with drawers made of bamboo. Enjoy looking at all the wonderful new products that hit the IKEA store in april.

A new IKEA collection is always reason for celebration. This week IKEA has released the images of the IKEA Stockholm 2017 collection. The Stockholm series is a recurrent collection that keeps changing. This year the collection consist of 46 products that are made of natural and tactile materials such as rattan, blown glass, ash blonde and blue and red velvet. The products range from furniture to colorful fabrics and glassware. You only have to wait a little while, the IKEA Stockholm collection will be in stores april 7.
Another IKEA post this week after I posted about Piet Hein Eek’s collection on tuesday. IKEA has just released the press images of the new items coming to the stores in february. From furniture to clever to storage solutions, there are some amazing new products coming to IKEA. I made a selection of my favorite items in this collection. The new items will be in stores in february.
Dutch designer Piet Hein Eek created a limited collection named JASSA for IKEA. A new collection by IKEA is always a reason to be happy but I must say the Jassa collection is truly amazing. Sustainability is very important for Piet Hein Eek which you can also see in the JASSA collection. The furniture and lamps are made of natural materials such as bamboo and rattan. Next to furniture and lamps the JASSA collection also includes baskets, ceramics and very colorful textiles. I love the combination of colorful fabrics and natural materials that Piet Hein Eek has used is this collection and I can’t wait to see it in stores. We only have to wait a little while because the JASSA collection will go on sale in march 2017.
IKEA PS is a yearly exclusive collection from our favourite Swedish homeware store. The images for the IKEA PS 2017 collection have been released and it’s a colorful collection with the desire to transform urban living environments. Most products are multifunctional and can be easily folded and taken with you. IKEA worked with 17 designers from all over the world to create a collection of more than 50 pieces. I can certainly spot a few items that I would love to have. But we have to wait a little while for that, the IKEA PS 2017 collection will be available february 3rd.
