Lokal Hotel in Philadelphia is a project by husband and wife – Chad and Courtney Ludeman. As travel ánd design lovers they found that hotel rooms are often the same old boring rooms. To make a change in hotel stays they decided to open Lokal Hotel. The interior of the hotel is mainly designed by one of my favourite designers Percy & Tara from Jersey Ice Cream Co. The loft-like rooms are ideal for short ánd a long-term stay. They have a seperate bedroom, a living room and a stunning (blue) kitchen, so they are more apartments than just a simple hotel room. The rooms are styled with vintage and modern design and the industrial features of the building remain visible (yay!). The hotel will open in april & you can book your stay now on the website of Lokal Hotel.
This vintage Victorian home in London belongs to food blogger Skye McAlpine and her family. The Victorian is designed by no other than Percy and Tara from Jersey Ice Cream Co. In only 3 weeks Tara and Percy created a wonderful vintage inspired family home. The home has good bones but Percy and Tara worked hard to make this Victorian into a serene and welcoming place for Skye’s family and friends. They plastered the walls in beautiful light pink and grey to give this soft vintage look and Percy built the kitchen and some furniture. The home is filled with vintage items that Tara found in England on their short stay here. The vintage items and the old bones of the building complement each other perfectly. I’m always so amazed by the work of Jersey Ice Cream Co, they constantly manage to create these beautiful serene, vintage looking homes. See the pictures of this Victorian London apartment for yourself and fall in love!
I have posted about the projects of Tara and Percy of Jersey Ice Cream Co many times before on my blogs simply because their work is absolutely stunning. Today I will give you a brand new project by Jersey Ice Cream Co that they have just finished renovating and the best thing about this home is that you can actually stay in it! This Rittenhouse apartment already had a good foundation with high ceilings, lots of old charm and a private roof terrace but after Tara and Percy worked their magic it has become a beautiful serene space. The apartment might be small but with the neutral colorscheme and clever design such as the benches against the wall they made it a beautiful serene and functional space, it’s the ideal airbnb stay to unwind after a long day in Philadelphia.
Last week I posted a lovely new project in Hudson Valley of the design duo Tara Mangini and Percy Bright of Jersey Ice Cream Co. While I was browsing their website I found more images of a project in Long Island that I had posted on tumblr last year. The charm, character and history that they manage to put into their projects is truly amazing. This large home in Long Island is no exception, while I love almost everyhing in this home I am especially in love with the kitchen and dining area in this home with the beautiful glass walls and ceiling and I always love a pink sofa!
Are you familiar with Jersey Ice Cream Co? If not then you should be. Jersey Ice Cream Co is the company of Tara Mangini and Percy Bright who literally move into a home while they are renovating to get the right feeling of the space. The results are aways stunning, their home are filled with personality and character thanks to the lovely mixture of new and vintage items. Their latest project is a Revolutionary War home in the Hudson Valley, a beautiful historic home with exposed beams, wooden floors and lots of charm.
