This amazing loft in New York belongs to Benjamin Sormonte and Elisa Marshall – the couple behind the New York café Maman. Their vintage loft in Tribeca is thé definition of charming. The loft has beautiful white-painted brick walls and every item is carefully selected by the owners. This way they ended up with flea market finds from Ibiza and other vintage pieces they found in Brooklyn. They couldn’t find a sofa that they liked so they made a couch/guest bed from pallets which is inspired by outdoor furniture from Ibiza. Everything in this home fits together and I love the laid-back and cozy vibe in this home.
There is a feeling of casual elegance in the New York home of Matt and Nadine Abramcyk. Together with their two children they live in Tribeca which they refer to as ‘a small town in the city’. With an apartment that faces the park and views over the surrounding greenery and the sky it sure doesn’t feel like a New York apartment. They mixed their elegant furniture with rustic and industrial elements. The bedroom wall is covered in reclaimed barn wood and copper pipes are visible troughout the apartment. I love the brightness of the space in combination with the darker colors of the wood and metal elements. All the wood gives the space such warmth and a slight ‘country cottage vibe’ which I absolutely love. If I wanted a New York apartment, than I definitely want it to look like this!
